Juried Art Show to Dazzle on Thursday
Local artists on display at Johns Creek Arts Center.
Local talent will be on display when the hosts its Arts on the Creek Juried Art Show this Thursday, Aug. 30, from 6 to 8 p.m.
In addition to enjoying the art on display, visitors will be treated to light refreshments and drinks.
The show will include painting, drawing, printmaking, mixed media, collage, photography and decorative and functional pottery. There will be a first place cash award of $500 for each of the following categories: Painting, Drawing, Photograph; and Ceramics. Visual arts pieces will be juried in by renowned artist Patrick Taylor and judged by Bob Ichter. The photographic arts judge is artist Debra Yaun, and the ceramics category winner will be chosen by AJ Argentina.Â
