Johns Creek Arts Festival Seeks Volunteers

Event is Oct. 27 & 28 at Atlanta Athletic Club fields.

On Oct. 27 & 28, the first Johns Creek Arts Festival will debut at the west fields of the Atlanta Athletic Club. This city-sponsored event requires hundreds of volunteers to help with everything from checking in artists and sponsors, to coordinating the Children's Costume Parade, to providing logistical support for musical entertainment, making it one of the largest volunteer effort in Johns Creek's history.

Splash Festivals, producer of the Norcross Art Fest and Dunwoody Art Festival, will produce the event with some 120 artists coming from across the country. In addition to a lively "Kidz Zone" and musical performances on the stage, the Johns Creek Symphony will perform at a special concert Saturday evening, with fireworks to follow.

Volunteer help will go a long way in making sure the thousands of visitors who are expected to attend this new festival are properly welcomed. The goal is to fill all positions no later than Oct. 12. Sign up to volunteer by clicking on this link. Choose the position(s) you want and sign up. You'll receive an email confirmation. Additional information will follow festival dates approach.
