Free Music, Food in the Park on Saturday

Concert returns after storm forced summer cancellation.

The presents a free evening of music in on Saturday.

"Music in the Park" features the Johns Creek Symphony Brass playing a diverse set of music from 6 to 8 p.m. Originally scheduled for June 18, the concert had to be rescheduled for safety reasons when a stray summer storm hit the park.

The family friendly event includes pre-concert activities such as youth musical performances, children's activities and entertainment beginning at 4 p.m. with the field opening at 3.

Attendees are encouraged to get creative and enter the “Best Georgia-Themed Picnic,” “Best Autumn-Themed Picnic” and “Best Sports-Themed Picnic” contests for a chance at prizes.

Don't feel like cooking? Publix will be on hand offering free hamburgers, hot dogs and soda. Folding chairs and blankets are allowed, but alcohol is not permitted.
