Fall Festival to Include Touch-a-Truck, Farmers Market

Vendor registration ends Aug. 30.

Johns Creek families will be treated for a three-for-one event when the Johns Creek Fall Family Festival hits Newtown Park on Sept. 7.

The event also includes the city’s Farmer's Market and the annual Touch-a-Truck event, all of which will make for a full day of fun at Newtown Park.

The market will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., while Touch-a-Truck and Fall Family Festival kick off at 10 a.m. and run to 3 p.m.

The Johns Creek Farmer's Market draws some 25 vendors of organic, locally grown produce every Saturday since opening in June. Touch-a-Truck lets kids “sit in the driver’s seat” in Public Works equipment.

The Family Festival, in its sixth year, includes activities such as a bounce house, giant slide, face-painting, animal demonstrations, live music, pie-eating contest and bungee run.
