V-Day Johns Creek 2012

V-Day is a global movement of grassroots activists dedicated to generating broader attention and funds to stop violence against women and girls.

V-Day Johns Creek 2012 is a performance of readings from The Vagina Monologues by Eve Ensler on Feb. 24 and March 2 and A Memory, a Monologue, a Rant, and a Prayer, a collection of essays by various writers, on Feb. 25 and March 3. All performances begin at 8 p.m.

The stories are read by volunteers who want to raise their voices in awareness and solidarity with the millions of women who are used as pawns of war, are victims of crime, or are oppressed by their own governments. Margarita Moldovan directs.
