Movies in the Park

Β

"Dolphin Tale," postponed Aug. 4 because of inclement weather, has been rescheduled for Aug. 25 at Newtown Park as the final film in Johns Creek's 2012 "Movies in the Park" series.

In this 2011 release, a young dolphin is caught in a crab trap, severely damaging her tail. She is rescued, but, without a tail, faces a bleak future. A dedicated marine biologist, a brilliant prosthetics doctor, and a devoted young boy work to produce a ground-breaking miracle that could save the dolphin and could help people around the world. "Dolphin Tale" is rated PG.
