Movies in the Park

The family action and adventure film "Journey 2 – The Mysterious Island" will be shown on the big (inflatable) screen on July 14 as the second of Johns Creek's "Movies in the Park" series.

The movie starts at dusk, about 9 p.m., at Newtown Park at 3150 Old Alabama Road. Pre-show activities, which start two hours earlier, include an inflatable moonwalk, face painting, children's activities, giveaways, entertainment, food and drinks. Families are invited to bring blankets and lawn chairs. No alcohol or pets please. FREE admission.

The third "Movies in the Park" is set for Aug. 4.
