Mother’s Day Tea at Autrey Mill! Saturday May 5th, 2011 2pm to 4pm

     Autrey Mill Nature Preserve and Heritage Center is holding its annual Mother’s Day Tea next Saturday.  Tea, light refreshments, and building tours will be offered in the Historic Summerour Farmhouse.  New this year, the tea will host guest speaker, Illona Cardona, also known as The HatLady of Georgia.  Ms. Cardona owns  A Tisket a Tasket Hat Shop in Historic Roswell, and is also the judge of the Steeplechase Hat Contest in Rome, Ga.  She will lecture on the “The Romance of Hats”, and display several hats from her Steeplechase Collection.  “We are very excited to have Illona for this special occasion tea,” states Heritage Coordinator, Claudette Lopez.  “It will be a wonderful way to spend the afternoon with your loved ones.”    The tea is open to all ages.  Cost for is $10 members, $12 non-members.  Register by May 3rd at www.autreymill.org
