The Johns Creek Presbyterian Church Academy of Fine Arts is hosting a 2012 Concert Series, beginning with its inaugural concert this Thursday, Feb. 2, at 7:30 p.m. in the chapel. The community is invited, and admission is free. A light reception and a time to "Meet the Artists" will follow the concert.
The duo recital features Dr. Wooyoung Ellie Choi and Dr. Minkyung Choi (from Seoul, Korea) performing Prelude, Fugue & Variations for organ & piano by César Franck; Tarantella from "Venezia et Napoli" by Franz Liszt; and Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 for piano four hands by Franz Liszt, arranged by Franz Bendel, among other selections by Korean female composers.
