'Gulliver's Travels' comes to Johns Creek's 'Movies in the Park,'

The family comedy "Gulliver's Travels" is the film selection on June 11 for Johns Creek's first 'Movies in the Park' of the summer season.

The 2010 adaptation of Jonathan Swift's satire features Jack Black as a shipwrecked mailroom clerk who finds himself on an island populated by really little people. The movie will be shown on a large inflatable, out-door screen.

The movie starts at dusk at Newtown Park at 3150 Old Alabama Road. Pre-show activities start roughly two hours earlier, at 7 p.m., and include an inflatable moonwalk and giant slide, face painting, children's activities, give-aways, entertainment, food and drinks. Families are invited to bring blankets and relax. No alcohol or pets please.
