Fun Friday - Kitten Adoption

Duluth Historical Society is hosting a "Fun Friday"
kitten adoption event with C.A.R.L.(Companion Animal Rescue League) at the
Historic Strickland House from 11 am to 3 pm. Let's make it a lucky Friday the
13th for our kittens and adopt them. Also the staff from Planned Pethood will
provide information about pet chipping and neutering.

For the kids, there will be face painting, refreshments, lawn
games, and story time. See you at the Gazebo on Friday, July 13th. Free - rain
or shine!

The Strickland House, maintained by the Duluth Historical Society,
built in 1898, was the home of the first women mayor of Duluth, Alice
Strickland and the original Gwinett Humane Society. The museum is open Fridays
and Saturdays, 12 to 3 pm.
