From the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra:
So, you have not heard the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra perform yet?
Well, now’s your chance! About to start our sixth season this fall, the JCSO is comprised of professional musicians with exceptional credentials and years of experience. This Monday, Aug. 13, at 9 p.m. on WABE/90.1FM (an NPR station), you can sit back and relax in your home and have your very own version of a Tanglewood or Chastain concert event with friends and families while you enjoy some outstanding music.
So, first to the music. The broadcast to air on the Atlanta Music Scene will be Beethoven’s Mass in C Major, Op. 86 performed with The Michael O’Neal Singers and first presented in our joint collaboration concert this past February. It was an exceptional and inspirational musical experience, guaranteed to amaze once again.
Now for the refreshments. Of course, how can you have a Chastain event without delicious treats and wonderful drinks. Why don’t you visit David Metz at , one of our supporters, prior to the concert broadcast, for wine and associated pairings to make for a memorable intimate evening. You can even pull out those lawn chairs you’ve been wanting to use and sit right in front of the radio (but in between the speakers, naturally!).
After the concert you can go online to www.johnscreeksymphony.org to get more details and purchase tickets for the 2012/2013 season. And we always welcome individuals interested in volunteering for JCSO – contact us through the website or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org. We look forward to “hearing” from you!
