Get out for an improv show Friday night and get ready for a wet-and-wild Saturday at Autrey Mill.

Why Go? Autrey Mill's annual "water-bration" to commemorate the end of summer with a fun-filled Water Day. Join Autrey Mill Nature Preserve and have fun with educational water games, slip-and-slides, water slides, snow cones, dunk machines and all things H2O.

Improv Monster at Dancing Goat Theatre

Why Go? Satisfy your appetite for locally grown fruits and vegetables this weekend when the Johns Creek Farmers Market continues at Newtown Park every Saturday through Sept. 10.

Why Go? From churches to Victorian houses, get to know the heritage of Johns Creek buildings. The Heritage Center opens one historic building to the public each Saturday.

Where/When: Historic Town Square, 38 Hill St., Roswell; Saturday, Aug. 20, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.

Why Go?: The City of Roswell Recreation, Parks, Historic Cultural Affairs Department and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta will be hosting the 2nd annual Family Music, Health and Wellness Expo. Various vendors from around the community will offer health and wellness services. Free screenings for blood pressure, bone density, blood glucose, total cholesterol and skin care will be provided. Children can enjoy inflatables and games, and concessions will be available for purchase.

Where/When: , 2200 Encore Parkway, Alpharetta; Saturday, Aug. 20, 7:30 p.m.

Why Go?: My Morning Jacket will be joined by opening act Neko Case. The band will donate $1 from every ticket sold to a local charity.
