Why Go? Enjoy a cooking class with famous chef Kevin Gillespie at Publix Aprons Cooking Class. Gillespie earned a spot on Bravo’s Emmy series “Top Chef” for the show’s sixth season in 2009.

Why Go? Summer and camping go hand-in-hand. If you are not quite ready to head to the mountains, then start out at CNC sleeping out under the stars, enjoying night hikes, playing games in the meadow, visiting with nocturnal animals, roasting marshmallows around the campfire and more.

Why Go? This is a motorcycle ride to support military troops. Receive a black T-shirt, all-you-can-eat pancakes at the beginning of the ride and then enjoy a scenic route into the hills. The ride starts at The Original Pancake House in Alpharetta.

Price: $30 per rider, $20 per passenger

Why Go? The magic of Cirque comes to the Symphony. Marvel in amazement at high-flying aerialists, daredevil cyclists and more acrobatic feats of wonder set to classical masterpieces and contemporary hits.

Why Go? Further Festival is Phil Lesh and Bob Weir from the Grateful Dead along with Jeff Chimenti, John Kadlecik, Joe Russo, Sunshine Becker and Jeff Pehrson.
