'Sweet as Pie' Chihuahua Needs Forever Home

Meet "Sweet Potato Pie," 2-year-old Chihuahua short-haired girl who weighs 9 pounds, and each pound is filled with pure sweetness! 

She is a recent rescue with Angels Among Us, and is spayed, microchipped, up-to-date on vetting, shots and preventatives. She is crate-trained and is 90 percent house-trained (she uses puppy pads inside when not able to go outside).  

Sweetie-Pie (her nickname) has quickly become the apple of her foster's eye and she says the name fits this little girl perfectly as she is "sweet, warm, loving and very good." This precious little girl who wants nothing more than to be loved on, petted, cuddled with and just generally your little "vecro" buddy. 

Prior to becoming an Angels dog, this baby was obviously starved, neglected and tossed away like trash inside a rural animal shelter. Now, she is hungry to find someone who will love her, adore her and give her that one wish she is craving for: a forever home and family who will never throw her away again. 

When it comes to playing, this girl is non-reactive to cats, and is very submissive to other dogs. She's okay with letting them be in charge; she just wants to play and have a canine buddy who will play with her and be her friend to talk to and hang out with. 

Sweet Potato Pie rarely barks and is submissive with people, as well as dogs.  She loves playing with her toys - balls are her very favorite toy - and is a true joy to be around. 

One of the cutest things about her is because she is perpetually in a good mood, her tail vibrates constantly instead of wagging because she just finds it very difficult to contain her happiness of being with people. This girl is loving and playful but what she loves most in the world is to have an owner who is looking for a wee doggy who will be completely devoted to them and love them with her whole heart.  

Some of the things Sweetie-Pie will need in her new home are a fenced-in back yard with a secure gate, another doggy to play with if possible, and a family who either are retired, work from home, or are a stay-at-home family. 

She would do best with older kids and adults who know how to give her tons of cuddles safely, as she is a small little girl. If you are looking for the perfect pet who will adore you forever, this is your girl.
