Sad Cat Hoping for a Lasting Home

Personable Agatha is a Persian mix.

Angels Among Us Pet Rescue wants so much to find a loving family for Agatha, a personable 5-year-old Persian mix. You see, this poor girl has lost one home after another, and she so much deserves to find a truly "forever" home.

Beautiful Agatha had started off happily enough with a family who adopted her from a shelter, but then their personal circumstances changed and she found herself without a home. Angels Among Us Pet Rescue took her into its adoption program about a year ago. Twice they thought she had been adopted.

Everything seemed to be working out great both times, but a health crisis occurred in both households...and she ended back up with the group. She seems sadder each time she is returned, and this last time was clearly depressed when she once again had to change her environment.

Agatha appears to be a Persian mix with a long luxurious coat. (It will need regular brushing.) She has a definite personality and will run up to you whenever you enter the room. She likes to hang around with her "people" and will be a great TV or reading buddy. She is a talker, and lets you know what she's thinking. Agatha lives with other cats, but would really prefer to be the only cat in the household. She is used to dogs and tolerates well-behaved ones.

Agatha is a big girl and could benefit, quite frankly, from a little time at Kitty Weight Watchers. (Can anyone else relate to this?) But she is so pretty!

Agatha finds change stressful and her adopter will need to give her a little while to settle in before seeing her true personality. It will be worth the wait. She's a lovely cat who truly deserves a forever home this time.

Agatha has been spayed, tested for feline leukemia and feline AIDS, vaccinated, treated for internal and external parasites, and microchipped.
