N. Fulton Charities Hosting Warm Coat Drive

Coats and accessories can be dropped off on Oct. 25 & 26.

Fall is here and the winter months are fast approaching. For many families who are without winter clothing, this can be a challenge while waiting at the bus stop, waiting on public transportation, or walking to school and work.

North Fulton Community Charities (NFCC) is reaching out to the North Fulton community asking everyone to support its 2012 Warm Coat Drive. NFCC is collecting new and gently used coats and accessories for adults and children. Last year the charity was able to provide some 300 families living in North Fulton with coats, jackets, scarves, mittens and caps for every member of the family.

New and gently used coats, jackets and accessories can be dropped off at the NFCC Holiday Distribution Site, 1425 Market Blvd., Kings Market Shopping Center (the old Comp USA building), Roswell, on October 25 or 26 from  10 a.m. to 5 p.m. All donations directly support NFCC families.
