Meet Mabry, a Tiny Package With a Big Heart

Mabry is available for adoption through Angels Among Us Pet Rescue.

Meet Mabry, a Chihuahua-Rat Terrier mix who weighs in at 9 pounds of pure love and affection.

She is approximately 2 years old, is spayed, house- and crate-trained, is microchipped and is up-to-date on all shots and vetting.

Mabry is a serious lover. She loves to snuggle and give kisses in abundance. It's almost as though she was born to sit in her human's lap.

Sweet Mabry gets along well with dogs of all sizes and loves people but is shy initially when meeting them. Since she's not been around cats, it's not known how she would react to them.

She is also a fun-loving little girl and loves to play the "ice game" with her foster mom. You see, when foster mom gets ice from the fridge, Mabry gets all excited, so her mom gives her a piece of ice and Mabry runs away with it and chews on it like a toy.

Precious Mabry is super loyal and the most loving little thing you've ever seen.  "Adorable, affectionate and loyal" perfectly describe this baby. She loves to burrow in, so her foster family keeps a nice, soft fluffly blanket inside her crate so she can sleep in it and come and go with the door open. She sometimes will burrow in so much it's hard to find her.

The ideal home for Mabry would be one with a fenced-in yard and another dog close to her size for her to play with, and owners who would be able to spend a good bit of time with her at home. A retired couple or an owner who works from home would be perfect. She would do best in a calm, quiet environment without younger children since loud noises tend to scare her, causing her to bark out of fear.

Her foster mom says she is the perfect little girl. Whomever opens their hearts and home to Mabry are in for a treat.
