Johns Creek Business Association Donates to the Public Safety Foundation

The association and foundation are currently taking registrations for the annual Greg Whitaker "Guns and Hoses Golf Tournament."

The Johns Creek Business Association recently presented the Johns Creek Public Safety Foundation with a check for $2,000 to assist fallen police and fire officers, as well as their families in a time of need or loss, according to a JCBA statement.

The donation was possible thanks to the JCBA’s annual Greg Whitaker “Guns and Hoses Golf Tournament” held in 2012. This year, the tournament will be held on Monday, June 3 at St Ives Country Club and proceeds from this tournament will be shared with the Johns Creek Public Safety Foundation and JCBA.

“This year’s tournament will be filled with excitement and superb golfing and is expected to be a sold out event. We look forward to the business community’s participation and sponsorship in this great opportunity to reach out and help others in their time of need,” said Wayne Carrel, JCBA 2013 Golf Committee chair.
