Johns Creek Arts Festival Needs Your Help

Volunteer spaces still available for Oct. 27 & 28 festival.

The  debuting Oct. 27 and 28 on the Atlanta Athletic Club fields, is still in need of more than 100 volunteers.

Positions that need to be filled are Staging and Zone Captains for Friday, Oct. 26, during set-up, Sunday, Oct. 27, during breakdown, helpers to assist artists with unloading Friday and loading again Sunday evening, and Parking Directors during the Saturday evening concert by the Johns Creek Symphony Orchestra.  

Signing up is easy. Click on this link, which will take you directly to the volunteer sign-up site. Choose the position(s) you want and simply sign up. You'll receive and email confirmation. Specific instructions for your position will be sent next week. All volunteers will receive a free T-shirt and Johns Creek Arts Festival button.

Also, don't forget to sign up your pet for the festival's Pet Parade Oct. 27 at noon. Dress your pet in its best costume and then march your furry friend across the stage for a change to win prizes. Registration is free and required.

Kids can also get in on the fun during the Children's Costume Parade Oct. 28 at 11 a.m. Children - newborns to 5th grade - can compete for prizes as they parade across the festival stage. Registration is free and required. And, be sure to like Johns Creek Arts Festival on Facebook.
