Johns Creek Girl, Cancer Patient Performs "Cups" (Video)

Bailey Moody had a surgery called rotationplasty as part of her cancer treatment and now is helping to raise awareness of childhood cancers.

A Johns Creek girl who had a rare surgery to treat cancer performs in a film recently made to raise awareness of the need for funding for pediatric cancer research.

Bailey Moody of Johns Creek appears with three other young cancer patients who underwent the same surgery, performing Cups, a song made popular by the film Pitch Perfect in the Truth 365 videoaccording to 11 Alive.

The four, including Moody, 11, and Mary Tankersley, 12, of nearby Acworth, had rotationplasty, "which involved removing the cancerous knee and reattaching the healthy lower leg backwards so that the ankle acts as the new knee," according to Truth 365.

The volunteer project aims to educate and mobilize millions through social media sites with films relaying the personal stories of children fighting cancer, according to http://www.thetruth365.org.
