Great Garden Deals Just in Time for Spring

North Fulton has some excellent deals to bring some color to your yard this week.

The feeling of an early spring has many people looking at their porches and yards and deciding what to do now. Many local nurseries have some great specials and free advice to give. If your home needs some color and some fresh plants, check out these local bargains. For those of you who love the plants as long as you do not have to do any work with them, we have found a nature hike for you to enjoy the beauty of spring. Whatever you decide, watch for specials, sales and deals to keep your spending as low as necessary while you spruce up your yard.

Deal: Follow them on FacebookTwitter or through their website to get updates on daily deals and specials. These constantly change and have included plants at over 50 percent savings.

Deal: Come on Tuesday at 4 p.m. to go on a guided nature hike. Participants will learn all about the foliage on the trails. The cost is $5. See the website for more information.

Deal: Check out the specials in the outdoor section. The Alpharetta store had 50 percent off of a large section plants when I went in on Thursday evening.

Deal: This Cumming nursery offers a large selection with an extensive website. Shoppers can choose and price out their garden needs before they ever get out of their house. This can help buyers stay within their budget, plan their yards and save money in the long run.

Deal: Come in on Saturday to hear Georgia's own gardening expert, Walter Reeves. The event is at 11:30 a.m. and is free to attend.
