National Park Service Autumn Owl Prowl

Come join the National Parks Service on Saturday, Nov. 12, at 6:30 pm for the annual Autumn Owl Prowl.

Enjoy roasting marshmallows in the crisp autumn air around the warm campfire; stories and songs; wonderful children’s crafts in the lodge; and the nocturnal sights, sounds, and beauty of the Chattahoochee on a ranger guided night hike.

Meet live owls and learn fascinating facts and fables about the owls of the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. Live owl programs courtesy of the Chattahoochee Nature Center, a National Park Service partner. Then take a leisurely stroll on a forest trail to listen for owls. Flashlights for the hike can add to the fun. Please dress for the weather.
