JOHNS CREEK, GA (January 14, 2011) – The Women’s Ministry of Mount Pisgah United Methodist Church is busy gearing up for their winter Women’s Conference, Encounter 2011. The conference will be held Saturday, January 29 at Mount Pisgah’s North Campus located at 2850 Old Alabama Road in Johns Creek. Doors open at 8:30 am and the program begins at 9:00 am and will conclude at 4:00 pm. Tickets are $40 (includes lunch) and are available online at www.mountpisgah.org

The program features author Margaret Feinberg, also a popular speaker at churches, Catalyst, CreationFest, and YouthSpecialites conferences.  Margaret will speak about the theme of her book, the Sacred echo, a popular read on hearing God’s voice in every area of your life. Margaret presents truth about prayer and coming to know God in the midst of difficulty.

Charisma magazine recently named Margaret Feinberg one of the “30 Emerging Voices” who will help lead the church in the next decade.  Christian Retailing named her one of the “40 Under 40” who will shape Christian publishing. 

 Margaret has written more than two dozen books and Bible studies including the critically-acclaimed The Organic God, the Sacred echo, and Scouting the Divine. She is known for her relational teaching style and invitational approach to discover the relevance of God and His Word in today’s modern world.
