Charter System Town Hall in Today's 5 Things

1. Charter System Town Hall. If the state approves Fulton County Schools' new charter system proposal, how will that affect your child's educational experience? Superintendent Robert Avossa and Fulton County Schools' Martha Greenway will be on hand to answer your questions at a Town Hall at at 7 p.m.

2. Business Networking & Workshops. The North Georgia Business Connection of Johns Creek hosts a at 7:30 a.m., while  hosts Social Media Marketing for Business Webinar at noon.

3. Roadwork. A portion of Buice Road just north of Jones Bridge is scheduled for partial and full closures through early May. Utility work at Jones Bridge at Waters Road and Jones Bridge at Morton Road, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Friday, may cause intermittent delays. Two northbound lanes on GA 400 near Haynes Bridge Road will be closed from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. today in Alpharetta.
