Celebrate Earth Day While Conserving Money

Here are five Earth Day events for your whole family to enjoy.

Earth Day celebrations are all around us this weekend. Whether you want to go to a festival celebrating cultures of the world or go on a guided nature trail, Patch has options for you to choose from. Here are five fun activities for your family that wont break the bank. 

1. Earth Day Tote Bag Decorating

Deal:  will have a make-it-and-take-it craft event in celebration of Earth Day. The tote decorating activity is perfect for kids over the age of 3 and it is free.

Good Through: This is a one day event and it will be held on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m. 

2. Fun With Nature In Johns Creek

Deal:  is hosting a Wild Weekend where guests will have animal encounters, games, food nature hikes and a lot of fun. Come on Friday from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. or on Saturday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. The cost is $5 for members and $7 for non members.

3. Earth Day Fun In Roswell

Deal:  is hosting a variety of special activities about gardening, herbs, composting and the wetlands in honor of Earth Day on Sunday from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m. Regular admission of prices of $8 for adults and $6 for children are required.

4. Earth Day Festival In Milton

Deal: The 3rd annual event is scheduled for Saturday from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. at . There will be activities, games, food and fun for all ages at this free event.

5. International Festival in Alpharetta

Deal: Bring the family to the on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for a celebration of cultures from around the world. Hear music, taste food and learn about different cultures at the FSA International Heritage Festival. Tickets are $5 if you preorder here or $8 at the door.
