Kids of all ages got to play in the sand and crawl into city vehicles this weekend when the City of Johns Creek held its third annual Public Works Day at Johns Creek High School. They learned about equipment used for road improvements and public safety straight from the professionals who operate that equipment. They also got to dig in the sand for utilities. City vehicles were parked for youngsters to climb in and see how it looks behind the wheel of a backhoe or in the backseat of a police car.
