1. State of the City. Mayor Mike Bodker will deliver his annual State of the City Address at the  on Friday at 7:30 a.m. The event, hosted by the Johns Creek Chamber of Commerce and the Johns Creek Business Association, includes a breakfast buffet, the mayor's address, and a Q&A session. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased here or at the door.

2. Mom's Day. Starting today, Wednesday is Mom's Day on Johns Creek Patch! Check back all day and every Wednesday for Frugal Family Finds, a Grab 'n Go Kid's Planner, a parenting discussion led by our Moms Council, and the Great Escape, which highlights ways Mom can indulge herself away from the kids. 4. More Winter Weather. Today will be partly cloudy with highs reaching 48. Evening snow showers could leave behind an inch of snow in time for Thursday's morning commute.

5. Road Watch. Installation of new traffic signal at State Bridge at Publix/Target could cause lane closures and delays through Feb. 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Northbound lane of Johns Creek Parkway south of McGinnis-Ferry will be closed all day through Feb. 11 due to discovery of an unmarked, paved-over manhole. Expect delays.
