1. City Council Meets. The Johns Creek City Council meets tonight at at 5 for its work session and at 7 for its regular meeting. A controversial request to change the zoning in the 3200 block of Old Alabama Road to allow for a medical office in addition to an approved assisted-living facility will be considered. A public hearing on the matter is also on the agenda.

2. Feeding Time at Autrey Mill. Preschoolers can explore one of the nature center's trail and feed an animal at this morning from 10:30 to 11:30.

3. Whiz Kids Wanted. Johns Creek Patch is looking for overachievers, star students and all-around great kids to be featured weekly on Wednesdays on our website. E-mail ann.quill@patch.com with nominations.

4. Today's Weather. Chance of strong storms today with highs reaching 73.

5. Road Watch. New signal construction on State Bridge Road at Publix, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Feb. 28. Lane closures and delays possible. Work on manhole at Johns Creek Parkway south of McGinnis Ferry continues through March 4. One northbound lane will be closed and should have a minimal impact on traffic.
