1. Holiday Closings. Fulton County Schools' winter break starts today, with the kids returning on Jan. 5 after a teacher workday on Jan. 4. are closed today through Monday, Dec. 26.
2. Toys for Tots. The city of Johns Creek is collecting toys for children in need. New, unwrapped toys can be dropped off through today at Fire Station 61 (10265 Medlock Bridge Parkway), Fire Station 62 (10925 Rogers Circle) and Fire Station 63 (3165 Old Alabama Road).
3. Win $100K for Your School. Enter our Deck the House contest for a chance at $100,000 for Johns Creek public schools. Finalists will win $500 toward electricity bills. Deadline is Dec. 26.
