5 Things You Need to Know Today: April 5

1. Happy Spring Break! Fulton County schools are closed this week for Spring Break. Classes resume Monday, April 11.

2. Fun at Ocee Library. Children 5 to 12 are invited to an educational visit from Johns Creek firefighters complete with a fire truck from 10 to 11 a.m., and then a crafts workshop from 4 to 4:30 at . Teens are invited to enjoy free snacks and a moviefrom 1 to 3 p.m. For more information on this and other library events, check the Fulton County Library calendar.

3. Movies at Medlock. New movies playing at  this week include Hop, Insidious, Source Code and Cat Run. Click here for times and tickets.

4. Bees, Butterflies and Hummingbirds. This at the Chattahoochee River Environmental Education Center on Barnwell Road teaches participants how to create gardens for pollinators. Pre-registration is required. 7 to 9 p.m.

5. Today's Weather. Rain should move out by 7 a.m. Today will be partly cloudy with highs reaching 62.
