1. Art in Bloom. Already popular in many major cities throughout the United States, finally comes to North Fulton, as the Johns Creek Arts Center and the Southeastern Horticultural Society present the area’s inaugural event on Friday, April 29, through Monday, May 2. 

2. Water for the World Run. This supports establishing clean water systems in developing countries and is also a Peachtree Road Race qualifier. The start is 7:30 a.m. in Technology Park.

3. Drug Take-Back Day. Dispose of expired, unwanted or unused prescription drugs on Saturday, April 30, at from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in a sponsored by the Johns Creek Police Department.

4. Citizen Input NeededThe 30-day comment period for the Community Development Block Grant Program, a federal program that provides funding for community needs, started April 7. Public input will help the city assess needs. For more information on how to participate, click here.
