5 Things You Need to Know Today: April 23

1. City Council Meets. The Johns Creek City Council meets today at 5 p.m. for its work session and at 7 p.m. for its regular meeting at . Tonight's agendas include a discussion on allowing "beer growlers" in the city, and intersection improvements at Jones Bridge Road and East Fox Court.

2. Child Trafficking Awareness. presents "The Candy Shop," a 30-minute film on the child trafficking industry and the impact an individual can have in fighting it in the metro Atlanta area. Viewings at 11 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. More information here.
