5 Things You Need to Know This Weekend: April 16-17

1. Up Johns Creek. The improv show continues Saturday night at 8 and 10 at the Dancing Goat Theatre, 10700 State Bridge Road. 

2. Spring Cleaning. Ready to get rid of some items? The City of Johns Creek and Keep Johns Creek Beautiful are sponsoring a bulky item recycling day on Saturday at the Medlock Bridge Shopping Center, 6000 Medlock Bridge Parkway. This is not a trash day; rather, it's for items such as useable mattresses and appliances. A document shredder will also be on hand. For more information on permitted items, click here.

3. Easter Egg Hunt. Children ages 1 to 10 are invited to the city's Spring Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday at  main soccer field. Activities including face-painting, moonwalk and pictures with the Easter Bunny begin at 12:30 p.m.; the hunt begins at 1:30 sharp.

4. Movies at Medlock. New movies playing at  this weekend include Scream 4, Arthur and Rio the Movie. Click here for times and tickets. 

5. Weekend Weather. Storms will move out early Saturday morning, making way for partly cloudy skies and highs of 65. Sunday will be mostly sunny with highs reaching 75.
