5 Things to Know This Weekend: April 21-22
What's going on this weekend? Click on links for details.
1. Pitch, Hit & Run for Kids. Johns Creek's boys and girls are invited to show their stuff at Aquafina's MLB Pitch, Hit & Run Championship at on Saturday. The event is free, and registration begins at 9:30 a.m.
2. Earth Day Celebration. Celebrate Earth Day by joining the National Park Service at the Chattahoochee National Recreation Center at 8615 Barnwell Road on Saturday. The fun begins at 10 a.m. and includes a hike, workshop and campfire. All programs are free, but registration is required at 678-538-1200.
3. Wild Weekend. annual Wild Weekend continues Saturday at 11 a.m. with live animal encounters, demonstrations, nature hikes, petting zoo, insect tent, games, snacks and more.
