Johns Creek Senior Kevin Cooney Signs With University of Tampa

In front:  Johns Creek High School senior, Kevin Cooney signs his letter of intent as parents Richard and Jennifer and brothers Sean and Danny watch.  In back are Principal Buck Greene, Swim Coach Susan Lipscomb, and Athletic Director Mike Cloy.

Kevin Cooney will be attending University of Tampa on a swimming scholarship.  Cooney has swum competitively for six years.  Honors and awards include:  State qualifier all four years, school record holder in 100 yard backstroke, and 4 x 100 year freestyle relay, scholar athlete all four years, all American consideration in 4 x 100 year free and 4 x 50 yard free relays; team captain junior and senior year, honor roll all four years.
