Hooch's Lisa Signs to Play Football at UAB

Lisa chose UAB over offers from Akron, Buffalo, UNC-Charlotte, Toledo and Mercer.

Chattahoochee High School's Collin Lisa has committed to play football on a full athletic scholarship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. UAB is an NCAA Division I school that competes in Conference USA. Lisa chose UAB over offers from Akron, Buffalo, UNC-Charlotte, Toledo and Mercer.

A four-year varsity starter, Lisa played his junior and senior years at Chattahoochee after moving from Union County, N.C.

As a senior, Lisa was a Class AAAAAA All-State honorable mention selection by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and Georgia Sportswriters Association. He also earned Class AAAAAA first-team All-Region and All-Conference honors. He was ranked third in the state for receiving yards for the AAAAAA classification. Lisa is listed as a Top 75 prospect in Georgia by the AJC and, this past spring, was named a Top Offensive Performer at the invitation-only Rivals Camp Series (South) and Nike Football Training Camp (South) and earned MVP awards at the VTO Charlotte, Atlanta Scout/247 MVP camp, Raw Talent Sports showcase in Cleveland and the Adidas Invitational in Detroit.

As a junior, Lisa was named to the 2012 Class AAAAAA all-conference and all-region team. As a freshman and sophomore, he was named to the Union County NC First Team All-Conference (2010, 2011) and the Union County NC First Team All-County (2011).

Lisa, who broke the Union County NC and Weddington High School records for receiving yards by a freshman, amassed a total of 3,300+ yards on 200+ receptions and 38 touchdowns in four years.
