Chattahoochee High School's sixth annual Taste of Johns Creek will be Sunday, Oct. 6, from 4 p.m.-7 p.m. at CHS. In a spirit of "giving back to the community," this year's event will help fill the shelves at North Fulton Community Charities (NFCC).
A community-wide event, Taste of Johns Creek will once again feature a variety of local restaurants offering samples of their menus as well as entertainment and a KidsZone. Vendors currently include Applebee's, Cafe Caribe, Chili's, Cuzi Fresh Cafe, DA Butcher, El Porton, Firehouse Subs, Fresh Mexicano Grill, Fresh Market, Ipanema Brazilian Steakhouse, Lupe's Rio Cantina, Noche, Noosh Persian Bistro, Outback, Primo's Italian Ice, Sally's Gluten Free Bakery, Shane's Rib Shack, Starbucks, Sweet Apple Donuts & Coffee and Uncle Domenic's Italian Market.
In addition, special kiosks will be set up for monetary donations for NFCC and a portion of ticket sales also will be donated to NFCC. The week after Taste of Johns Creek, Cougar 2 Cougar mentors will use those donations to buy and deliver to NFCC much-needed non-perishable food and household items.
