Dolvin Elementary Participates in "Jumpstart's Read For The Record"

Each year, The Today Show promotes “Jumpstart’s Read for the Record” a nationwide literacy program.  “Read for the Record”  is one of largest shared reading experiences. 

On Thursday the Dolvin News Splash broadcast team at Dolvin Elementary followed their lead, and replaced the regular news show, with  “Story Time At Dolvin.”  

Students and teachers throughout Dolvin Elementary  enjoyed the story Otis by Loren Lord.  Otis is “Jumpstart’s Read for the Record” book for 2013.

Dolvin News Splash Broadcast team sat down for a story read by a cast of Dolvin staff members.  

Dolvin Elementary joined with schools, libraries, parents, administrators, teachers, and children all across America to take time out to celebrate reading!  Read for the Record 2013 was a big hit at Dolvin Elementary!
