– On Sunday September 1, King’s Ridge Christian School Senior Chase Elliott, driving the No. 94 Dream Machine, won the NASCAR Truck Series race at Canadian Tire Motorsport Park. Elliott, driving for Hendrick Motorsports in only his sixth series start, conquered the 2.459-mile road course resulting in his first series victory. At 17 years of age, Chase became the youngest winner in the NASCAR Truck Series history. Chase is the son of 1988 Sprint Cup Series champ, Bill Elliott.
