Candidate Bev Miller Restates That She Won't Be Attending Mayoral Candidate Forum

Bev Miller, who is running for the mayor's seat in the Nov. 5 elections, issued the following statement to Patch.

Candidate for Mayor of Johns Creek Bev Miller reiterated Monday that she will not be able to attend a proposed Tuesday forum due to a previous commitment.

Miller notified forum organizers when she was originally contacted that she already had a prior commitment on that date.

"There's a clear difference between us in this election," said Miller.

"Mr. Bodker and I have been together in city council meetings and in a community forum just last week. I wish we could have done so again, but on this evening I have a prior commitment."

The forum was planned for 7:45 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 29, and was to be held at the Johns Creek Center for the Arts and Design.
