Johns Creek International Week Celebration at NE Library March 17-23

The third annual Johns Creek International Week Celebration will be held at the NE/Spruill Oaks Library March 17-23. A variety of events and family fun activities from around the world will be presented, including International Stamp Collecting on Saturday, March 23, from 1-3 p.m. with former Friends of NESOL Vice President Roger Quinby; Japanese Folk Toys Exhibit sponsored by the Japanese Consulate of Atlanta in the Teen Center; an International Doll Exhibit by Friends of NESOL Book Cart Chair Barbara McCoy in the Lobby; and a Heritage World Paper Chain display throughout the Library. The Northeast/Spruill Oaks branch of the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System is located off of Old Alabama Road. The library's advocacy group is Friends of Northeast/Spruill Oaks Library, which holds book club meetings in the library's Community Room. The library opened in 1999 and is adjacent to a wildlife habitat. It hosts a variety of classes and events for youth and adults.
