The Fulton County Board of Education will meet Dec. 13 for a work session at the school system’s Administrative Center. The board will convene to executive session at 12:30 p.m. and then meet publicly at 2 p.m. for workshops on safety, pension board, and a Fulton Science Academy Middle School charter petition.

Should the workshops conclude early, the board may move to immediately begin discussion of the Dec. 20 board agenda, followed by a public comment session.

All topics being discussed are posted on BoardDocs, an online program that makes the school board agenda and all supporting documents available online. Meetings can be watched live from a computer screen using viewing software such as Windows Media Player or RealPlayer. Audio and video recordings of the meetings are archived to the videostreaming web site within 48 hours of the meeting.

All meetings of the school board are open to the public unless designated as executive session, where the board must convene in private to discuss land, legal or personnel items.
