A Defensive Driving Class sponsored by the AARP will be held at the NE Library Saturday, Feb. 2, from 11 a.m.-5:30 p.m. The cost is $14 per person, with a $2 discount available to AARP members who provide their membership card for the class workbook. Attendance for the entire time is required for a certificate to be awarded. Please bring your own brown bag lunch. More About NE/Spruill Oaks Library
The Northeast/Spruill Oaks branch of the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library System is located off of Old Alabama Road. The library's advocacy group is Friends of Northeast/Spruill Oaks Library, which holds book club meetings in the library's Community Room. The library opened in 1999 and is adjacent to a wildlife habitat. It hosts a variety of classes and events for youth and adults.
