Wilson Creek Elementary in Johns Creek celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday on Friday with “Read Across America Day” (RAAD) activities. The school day began with the administrative team on the roof of the school reading a happy birthday poem for Dr. Seuss. Throughout the day, pajama-wearing students also enjoyed celebrity read-alouds; D.E.A.R. time (Drop Everything and Read!); a “one fish, two fish” candy estimation contest; Dr. Seuss trivia contests; and special cafeteria treats including birthday cake during lunch and green eggs and ham for breakfast.
