Sample Fine Food at 'Taste of Roswell'
Taste the cuisine served by some of nearby Roswell's restaurants this weekend.
The annual "Taste of Roswell" returns to the historic Roswell Square this weekend, Saturday, Oct. 20.
The event includes food sampling from area restaurants, family fun such as face painting, bean bag toss, dancing, a hula hoop contest and more. Additionally, DJ Greg Talmadge will provide music throughout the event.
Some participating restaurants include:

- Coldbrews Sports Bar and Grill
- Gluten Free Cutie
- Cookies By Design
- Menchie's Frozen Yogurt
- Dogwood Café at Doubletree by Hilton
- Plum Café
- Douceur de France
- Shane's Rib Shack
- Edible Arrangements
- Sugo Restaurant and Tapas
- El Porton Mexican Restaurant
Attendees will get a chance to vote for their favorites in the following categories:
- Best of Taste
- Favorite Food Item
- Best Decorated Booth
- Friendliest
Taste of Roswell is presented by the Roswell Visitors Center, Roswell Restaurant Marketing Council and the Roswell Recreation & Parks Department. Admission to the event is free, however food tickets cost 50 cents each and food is priced from 50 cents to $3. For more information call 770-640-3253 or visit the CVB website.
