State Bridge Crossing Elementary School on Saturday held its first "Bobcat Dash," sponsored by SBCE PTA. The race was a one-mile run on SBCE grounds to promote health and fitness at the school.

The event was a huge success with 255 participants. A pre-race warmup was provided by North Point Jazzercise, and the Johns Creek police and fire departments sent representatives to provide additional excitement.

Publix provided the post-race refreshments and Fleet Feet provided coupons to go in the race bags

The event received great reviews from the families and the school says it is looking forward to watching it grow in size next year.
