Everyone needs somewhere they can go to get away - even if it's just up the street to the local spa. 

From the flavored herbal tea to the soothing sounds of that water feature down the hall, everything about the spa is geared toward helping you unwind and relax. Plush robes, essential oils, footbaths, mud masques, stone massages and silence can sometimes be more therapeutic than talking it out.

Which brings us to our question: Which local spa is the best in helping stress to melt away?

The nomination period is now closed, but between July 23 through Aug. 17 cast your vote for your favorite below.
