Centennial High Students Taken to Hospital - Roswell Patch

Four ninth grade boys at Centennial High School were taken to the hospital during the early afternoon, Tuesday, Oct. 2, after taking an un-prescribed respiratory medication.

Roswell Police and EMS workers found the boys responsive around 11 a.m., but took them to the hospital as a precaution at the recommendation of Poison Control. See Roswell Patch for more on this story.

Coming to Gwinnett Arena: Lingerie Football League - Suwanee Patch

The Gwinnett Arena could have women playing football in lingerie. 

The Lingerie Football League, based in Las Vegas, has announced plans to expand to the Gwinnett Arena in 2013. According to a news release, the league plans games on April 13 and May 18, 2013, in Gwinnett. See Suwanee Patch for more on this story.

Gwinnett Sheriff's Deputy Charged With DUI After Wreck - Gwinnett Patch

Georgia State Patrol has reported that a Gwinnett County Sheriff's Deputy vehicle was involved in a wreck at 1:20 a.m. Wednesday (Oct. 3) on Georgia Highway 81 at Double Springs Road in Walton County.

According to the trooper, a Gwinnett County Sheriff's Department vehicle ran off the road, struck an embankment and overturned several times. The driver, Robert Christopher Matt, 27, from Bethlehem, was charged with driving under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident, failing to maintain lane and open container.
