'Movies in the Park' Returns With 'Journey 2'
'Journey 2 - The Mysterious Island' will be shown on big screen Saturday at Newtown Park.
"Movies in the Park" returns to Newtown Park on Saturday with the kid-friendly "Journey 2 - The Mysterious Island."
The action and adventure film will be shown on a big inflatable screen at dusk, around 9 p.m. Pre-show activities such as a moonwalk, face-painting, giveaways and refreshments will start about two hours prior.
Admission is free, and families are invited to be bring blankets and lawn chairs. Alcohol and pets will not be allowed.
The third and final "Movies in the Park" of the season is set for Aug. 4. The season kicked off with "Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked" on June 9.
